The Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar and his wife, Skip Capital’s Kim Jackson, have bought an in-between house for their family of five.

The couple have emerged as the mystery $16.25 million buyers of the Bellevue Hill home of businesswoman Jane Hewitt.

The six-bedroom home (above), which will be the couple’s home for the next two years or so, comes with charming Mediterranean tones.

Atrium style doors open from the living area to a Peter Glass-designed pool.

They have been trialling living at Elaine, their nearby $70 million Double Bay acquisition, while working out their living concepts.

Plans were expected to lob with Woollahra Council from Carl Pickering at Lazzarini Pickering Architetti, but late last week it appeared the couple will reactivate previously approved TKD Architects plans for what will be their forever home.

Before their 2017 acquisition of Elaine, the couple resided in a three bedroom Pyrmont apartment.

Hewitt, recently appointed to the board of Mirvac, and husband, Gary Symons, have since bought a $6 million terrace in Paddington after selling the Drumalbyn Road home on delayed settlement terms last June.

Ben Collier at The Agency sold the Bellevue Hill and Paddington homes.
