The former Dalkeith home of Radhika Oswal, the wife of Indian tycoon Pankaj Oswal, has sold for $3 million.

The couple are best known for their the proposed 'Taj on the Swan', the $70 million mansion planned in nearby Peppermint Grove.

The mansion, which was set to feature an observatory with revolving roof and parking for 17 cars, sat unfinished in the years since the Oswals fled Australia in 2010.

In 2016 the half-built mansion was knocked down, and the couple are still seeking offers around $20 million for the land alone, which spans over 6,580 sqm.

The Dalkeith home (top and above), was not as substantial. It still had seven ensuited bedrooms, a theatre room, games room, wine cellar, music room, gym, sauna, swimming pool and spa. Radhika had paid $1.9 million in 2002.
