Looking for a home in Maroochydore, Queensland? Plaza Central offers affordable brand new homes from just $299,000. We had a chat to Cathy Price, Development Sales Manager at Pindan, about what buyers can expect to find at the new Sunshine Coast development.

U: Where did you draw inspiration for Plaza Central from?

Cathy Price: When designing Plaza Central, Sprout Architects, an accomplished local firm, drew inspiration from the coastal lifestyle the Sunshine Coast is renowned for whilst focusing on capturing urban life at its most relaxed.

U: What is the price range of the apartments and are the floorplans flexible?

CP: Plaza Central offers buyers exceptional value. A choice of 1 and 2 bedroom apartment configurations are available with the 3 bedrooms now sold. Pricing starting from $299,000 for 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom and from $399,000 for 2 Bedrooms/2 Bathroom Lot types. Excitingly construction is about to commence over the coming weeks, however, minor purchaser variations can be accommodated at additional cost.

U: What were the top 5 features you decided had to be included in the development and why?

CP:

  1. The apartments offer the perfect marriage of form and function, showcasing the clever use of space and a seamless flow between indoors and out whilst harnessing natural light.
  2. A selection of two tasteful colour schemes to allow for a personal touch. ‘Coast’ takes its cues from the surrounding coastal landscape, with sandy neutral tones that create the perfect backdrop to suit any aesthetic. ‘City’ is a bolder, more urban-inspired palette with greater contrast and depth.
  3. Chic features and finishes have been carefully selected to create stylish surrounds, including engineered stone benchtops, brushed nickel fittings and modern kitchen appliances.
  4. All apartments are NBN ready and include air conditioning for year-round comfort.
  5. Quality carpet graces the bedrooms while entertaining spaces feature hardwearing, low-maintenance tiles.

U: What do you think buyers seek out the most in your development?

CP: The opportunity to secure a brand new contemporary and affordable apartment offering a low maintenance lifestyle with reasonable body corporate fees. Location is also a big draw card. Set in a scenically beautiful location that connects the mountains to the ocean, Plaza Central is perfectly positioned to enjoy the idyllic lifestyle for which the Sunshine Coast is world-renowned. Only a short drive to pristine beaches such as Mooloolaba for morning swims or a surf, unspoiled national parkland and picturesque waterways such as the Maroochy River, the colourful Ocean Street culinary precinct with its fashionable cafes, restaurants and markets and the Cotton Tree waterfront dining and retail hub, home to the Cotton Tree Pier and Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre.

U: If you had to choose your favourite aspect of the building, what would it be?

CP: The central location with a front-row seat to an abundance of retail, dining, entertainment and recreational options right at your doorstep. All this whilst being only minutes from the Sunshine Coast’s world-class beaches and recreational facilities.

U: What makes your project stand out from other properties on the market?

CP: The affordability whilst offering style and ultimate convenience in the heart of Maroochydore and the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
