A double block home on Sovereign Islands in Queensland has been sold at $5,625,000.

Located at 47-49 Knightsbridge Parade West, it is set among trees on its north/west facing holding.

It had sold at $5.2 million in 2012 to a Shanghai-born businessman and previously at $4.26 million in 2009.

It comes with an expansive sun drenched timber deck with Broadwater and Hinterland views.

The Paradise Waters offering was designed with the idea of allowing natural light and Broadwater views through a large expanse of glass and bi-fold doors.

There is a separate entry and an exit gate to the port cochere that offers plenty of car spaces along with two double lock up garages one on either side of the house.

The ground floor offers formal and informal living areas, executive study, massive gym room, powder room and a bar.

The gourmet kitchen has quality appliances, western cedar cabinetry and Italian granite tops.

There is a resort style pool.

The first level has a retreat area for the kids and three other floor to ceiling marble tiled ensuited bedrooms all with balconies and Broadwater views.

One of the bedrooms also offers small kitchenette.

On the third level there is a grand master suite with a wraparound balcony.

The property was offered by Ray White agent Ali Mian.
