The Sorrento home which was the architecturally designed winner of 2017 HIA Victorian Housing Award for custom built regional homes has been listed for sale at $3.15 million.

Set in a lush coastal garden at 15 Rose Street, the home’s features include an eight metre long drystacked limestone wall which acts as a focal point of the living room which was undertaken by a local artisan stonemason

Its Kay & Burton listing agent Liz Jensen notes from the Carrara marble bench tops to the parquetry oak floors, to the cabinetry and imported light fittings, that “high-quality materials are used to the greatest effect.”

The home comes with custom built sauna and wellbeing retreat/sitting room.

There are double glazed windows, hydronic heating, wood burning open fireplace, and reverse cycle air-conditioning.

The 680 sqm block cost $1.55 million in 2014.
