Google Asia-Pacific head of travel Hermione Joye and her partner, the fintech wealth management director Tim Neville, have emerged as the buyers of the redundant Palm Beach weekender of fund manager Rob Luciano.

They paid $4.4 million for the hillside Florida Road retreat, which they will use to holiday in when away from their Singapore base.

The four-bedroom home took around a year to sell, during which Luciano’s price hopes fell.

For many years Joye holidayed at Kalua, the family’s plantation-style Palm Beach home, which was sold for $22 million in 2012 to car dealer Laurie Sutton.
