Screenwriting duo list redundant Newtown home
Busy writing and working in LA, screenwriting couple Trent O'Donnell and Sarah Scheller are selling their redundant Newtown home, having favoured the Eastern suburbs when they return.
O'Donnell, who co-runs production company Jungle Entertainment, is credited as co-writing and directing the award-winning comedy Review with Myles Barlow.
The couple are currently in the USA, where they're hit Stan Australia series No Activity is being remade in to a US version.
Hollywood heavyweights Will Ferrell, J.K Simmons and Jesse Plemons are among the stars.
The two level Newtown home last traded for $1.15 million in 2009.
The creative duo have since extended the three bedroom property, adding a stone topped gas kitchen, a dining area and a study nook at the rear of the 190 square metre Oxford Street parcel.
The traditional charms of timber floors, high ceilings and an original staircase still remain.
Raine & Horne Newtown agents Michael Harris and Matthew Dunkerley have set a May 12 auction.
O'Donnell directed, produced and written ABC's The Chasers War on Everything, Laid, A Moody Christmas and The Elegant Gentleman's Guide to Knife Fighting.
Scheller, who also is accredited with The Elegant Gentleman's Guide to Knife Fighting, started her career in PR and fashion journalism.
