The Sarich family are having another shot at selling their contemporary Cottesloe home, this time for an even more realistic $5.2 million asking price.

It had been bought for $7.65 million in 2007, then listed with $6.5 million hopes just two years later.

They tried again in 2014, with hopes that a buyer would come forward for the Grant Street property with a further reduction to $5.5 million.

The three level home is surrounded by lush gardens and ornamental ponds, with an alfresco area complete with lounge, dining, kitchen and spa privatised by mature Magnolia's.

Williams Porteous at William Porteous International has the listing.

It was briefly the home of Peter Sarich, the son of the engineering inventor Ralph Sarich and with Patricia, but Peter now lives at Peppermint Grove.
