The upgrading fashion designer Sarah-Jane Clarke and her landscape architect husband Dan Baffsky have snappily sold their Vaucluse home.

The four bedroom, three bathroom Derby Street home was listed in mid-January with $6.5 million plus hopes through Ray White Double Bay.

It was set for late February auction. The house sold at $3.5 million in 2005.

The couple are off to the harbourfront, paying around $12 million on Wharf Road for a home sold at $12 million in 2008.

Clarke, and business partner, Heidi Middleton quit the Sass & Bide fashion brand last year.

The new six bedroom home has views over the Vaucluse Baths to The Gap.
