Destination New South Wales chief executive Sandra Chipchase has splashed out $2.35 million on a Paddington warehouse.

The 1880 converted warehouse spans two levels and has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The 120 sqm property, that previously traded for $1.34 million in 2010, features ground floor outdoor decking and a second floor terrace.

Chipchase was poached back to Sydney by the O'Farrell state government from Victoria where she had been CEO of the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Destination NSW was created in 2011 from the merger of Tourism NSW and Events NSW.
