Adelaide's Netherby takes the prize for week's top sale: RP Data

South Australia took the prize for the most expensive house last week with the sale of 4-6 Delamere Avenue, Netherby.
Quoted between $2.65 million and $2.75 million, the 1950s house fetched $2.7 million on the weekend.
Selling for just $20,000 more than 6 English Place, Kew, Victoria – the Netherby property was the highest price paid in the country last week, according to sales notified to RP Data.
Listed by Harcourts Brock Williams, the four-bedroom house has a tennis court, an indoor swimming pool and consists of two titles over 2380 square metres.
The house is located within walking distance to Mercedes College with close proximity to popular shopping precincts, sporting facilities and the CBD. The property last traded at $347,500 in 2000.
