Russell Jack-designed Wilkinson Award winner at Wahroonga sold
A heritage listed home in Wahroonga has been sold by the Loxton family for $2.32 million.
Last sold in 2013, the home built in 1962 to a design by architect Russell Jack sold for $1.9 million.
It won the Wilkinson Award for Outstanding Architectural Merit in 1963.
Tim Fraser of Di Jones marketed the house.
Situated at 36 Cleveland Street, the property sold to a local family for $120,000 over reserve.
It traded in 1988 at $710,000.
Known as Jacobs House, it was designed for the former High Court judge Sir Kenneth Jacobs.
Said to be designed to Sir Ken’s specifications, the pavilion-style house sits on a 1,534 square metre Cleveland Street holding.
