Retired Socceroo captain Mile Jedinak has sold his St Ives investment apartment for $820,000.

The 34 year old Camperdown-born midfielder, who is currently playing for Aston Villa in England, paid $570,000 for the apartment in 2009, just after he left the Central Coast Mariners for Europe.

The 90 square metre, two bedroom apartment in the Meriton-built Loralea Gardens complex, has been a rental during his decade long ownership while he played overseas.

The sale was through Meriton Group project sales manager Jason Miao WHO secured the sale, having initially offered a guide of $850,000 to $900,000, before revising the guide to $800,000 to $850,000.

Jedinak is rumoured to be returning to the A-League next season, with one of the expansion teams believed to have tabled an offer.
