The Hawkesbury River log cabin once owned by the late Sydney stockbroker, Rene Rivkin is back on the market.

Its current owners Bob and Wendy Lapointe have $5 million expectations through Ray White Windsor agent Peter Chidgey.

Lapointe introduced takeaway chain Kentucky Fried Chicken to Australia.

He has owned the Spencer log cabin since 2011 when he paid $1.45 million for it.

Built by Appalachian Log Homes, the cabin was a favourite getaway for Rivkin, who used to fly or boat in.
