Record $4.35 million Boomerang Beach trophy home sale

A Boomerang Beach weekender has sold for a record $4.35 million.

The sale came just 25 days into its marketing by Chantal Hooper at Pillinger Real Estate.

88 Sur, the Boomerang Beach holiday home was sold by former investment banker Paul Bernasconi.

It was listed five years ago with more than $2.8 million hopes.

His no-expense-spared project with a mix of concrete, timber, zinc and glass was undertaken 15 years ago.

Next door is known as 88 Nord, that sold at $2.35 million in 2017.

He bought the double block in 2002 for $1.12 million.

The two residences were designed by Collins & Turner Architects.
