A glamorous Hawthorn East rental home that has featured in the Foxtel reality show, The Real Housewives of Melbourne is for sale.

Its the home that was tenanted to former Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies and his wife, Jackie for some $2500 a week.

The Harcourt Street 1888 Victorian era home – with a recent 2010 extension by architect Steve Domoney on its 490 sqm block – comes an internal area of more than 400 square metres.

There is four bedrooms, a study, cinema and gourmet kitchen at the renovated house with four courtyards.

Marshall White agent James Tostevin expects 2A Harcourt Street to sell for $3.5 million plus at its February 20 auction.
