A surviving Surfers Paradise cottage which has been in the family for more than 50 years has been listed for sale.

Set just 150 metres from the beach, the modest two-bedroom cottage at 204 Surf Parade sits in a high-density development area near the Crown Plaza resort.

The cottage sits on 405 square metres of land bought for a reputed $8,000 in 1965 remaining through three generations, and transferred in 1984 internally at $40,000.

McGrath Broadbeach agent Greg Washington and Elizabeth Taylor puts it under the hammer on May 14 on site.
