Radiologist Professor Ken Neale sells Doyne Hill House at Mount Panorama
THERE’S a new queen of the mountain after radiologist Ken Neale and wife Helen sold Doyne Hill House, their long-time Mount Panorama residence.
The retired Bathurst tourism operator Ramona Katter emerged as its $2.5 million buyer last month.
The Conrad Straight property comes with a five-bedroom home designed by William Zuccon, of Dods + Zuccon, which was completed around 12 years ago.
The home’s atrium comes with grand vaulted ceilings that have timber beams rescued from an old Arnott’s Biscuit factory. The gardens have rambling floral walks, secret nooks and a lily-filled pond.
Bathurst local agent Peter Rogers and David Newgrosh Real Estate marketed the listing as a traditional country house.
