Having secured one of the most coveted sites within the new Maroochydore City Centre, builder developer Habitat Development Group's The Corso will emerge as one of the most central and prominent structures of the new central business district master plan.

The Corso will comprise 158 two and three-bedroom apartments, with 116 apartments in the South Tower spanning 15 levels and 42 apartments in the North Tower across nine levels.

The street level will feature seven commercial and retail spaces for future retail and cafe options.

The KArchitecture-designed building will rise above the adjacent purpose-built waterway and landscaped parklands of the newly proposed Convention Centre.

Dubbed 'The Bright City,' the new Maroochydore City Centre showcases ground-breaking centrepiece waterways, sustainable transportation options, public parkland, and future retail opportunities over 1500 sqm, promising a more vibrant but cleaner, greener urban experience minutes away from the beach.

Residents will also be spoiled for choice with an eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes, bars, and rooftop night spots, all within walking distance of Ocean Street’s entertainment hub.

The Nautical, SOKA, Pumi's Kitchen, Elixiba Sunshine Coast, Solbar and La Canteena Alleyway Bar are some of the highest-rated spots in this vicinity. A six-minute drive from The Corso is Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore's central shopping hub. That has a Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and BCC Cinemas. The popular Aerodrome Road is a 12-minute walk from The Corso, with more dining and retail options.

Beyond the retail and entertainment choices, the proximity to parklands, rivers, and beaches offers an enviable and idyllic lifestyle to residents.

Residents can explore the beauty of Maroochydore's coastline, with beaches just a four-minute away. There's also nature opportunities at the nearby Maroochydore Rotary Park and Cotton Tree Pier, as well as the scenic drives through the hinterland.

The proximity of the Sunshine Coast Airport, the planned sustainable environmental travel options and existing strategic road networks ensure that residents can venture further afield easily if they decide on a change of scene.

The Sunshine Coast boasts one of Australia's largest current health infrastructure assets and an impressive choice of education options. The Maroochydore State School, Immanuel Lutheran College and Maroochydore State High School are all less than 1.5 kilometres from The Corso.

The Corso is undergoing construction, with estimated completion in the third quarter of 2024.
