Brisbane-based, Tallis Property Group has marked themselves as an evolving, fast growing, dynamic property investment and property development company.

Since their inception, the group has strung together a rather impressive portfolio, paying particular attention to the greater Brisbane region.

Akin is Tallis’ first South Brisbane project, with the group having already made a name for themselves in Indooroopilly with Grace and Oppo, along with projects’, Mare in Rose Bay, Kurilpa in West End, Ilmondo in Kangaroo Point, Vision in Upper Mt Gravet and Clinque in Gordon.

Positioned to take in all the burgeoning South Bank area has to offer, Akin delivers a collection of one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartments, along with a selection of sub penthouses and penthouses, boasting world-class design with intuitively integrated smart home functionality.

Soaring 30-storeys above one of Brisbane’s most sought-after precincts, the Merivale Street site straddles the edge of West End and South Bank, with Tallis Property Group saying there are many different aspects that set it apart from other Brisbane developments.

“Located in one of Brisbane’s most convenient and culturally diverse neighbourhoods, Akin introduces elevated apartment living to the ever-evolving Southbank precinct. With its convenience and carefully considered, future-forward design, Akin creates a seamless lifestyle for its residents,” the team said.

For example, each residence at Akin can be linked to an optional private central hub, allowing residents to customise, personalise and coordinate their home from their choice of device.

Through use of number plate recognition technology, residents will enjoy seamless access to the car park, while keys become a thing of the past, with facial recognition to access the lobby, along with passcode entry providing seamless access to each apartment.

Customisations aren’t only included in the technological aspect at Akin.

Residents have the option to modify their homes to their liking, with many upgrade packages available.

Akin also offers up a wide variety of options surrounding its resident’s wellbeing, boasting a huge health offering, including a gym, which is home to the latest world-class techno-gym equipment, along with a yoga facility, complete with mats and bolsters, a 22-metre resort pool, heated spa, and a steam room and sauna.

Akin is also home to a cinema room, a business hub, as well as a wine cellar and a private dining room which can seat up to 40 guests.

Tallis purchased the site for Akin back in 2014, with the group recognising the potential of the burgeoning area long before the renaissance started.

“As South Brisbane was a desired area, the site has a lot to offer with everything being very accessible, via walking or a short drive.”

Owner-occupiers have flocked to the project, with a number of families, downsizers and young professionals taking up stock.

Only a number of three and four-bedroom apartments remain in the $180 million South Brisbane development, which is slated for completion by 2023.

Tallis has a number of projects in the pipeline, with a house and land development planned for Upper Coomera along with a build-to-rent development in Indooroopilly.

The group is also adding to its New South Wales portfolio with two residential developments planned for south of the border, with a collection of luxury apartments set for the exclusive eastern suburbs pocket of Rosebay, as well as an apartment development penned for the upper north shore in Roseville.
