Queen’s Wharf Residences is the latest development by one of Australasia’s largest developers, Far East Consortium.

Set to become one of the tallest buildings in the new $3.6 billion precinct, the 667-residence building still boasts a selection of one and three-bedroom residents available for purchase.

Urban takes a look at six reasons you should consider one of these apartments at Queen’s Wharf.

1. Developed by Far East Consortium

Far East Consortium is an international property development company with a strong Australian presence.

Established in 1960, the development group is now one of Asia’s largest property developers, publicly listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and contributing significantly to the Melbourne and Perth skyline.

The group has delivered urban renewal redevelopments equating to over $2 billion of completed projects with projects in excess of $7 billion across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney in its pipeline.

2. Great architectural design

The one, two and three-bedroom residences at Queen’s Wharf have been curated by Cottee Parker to deliver the most to its residents.

Each apartment features winter gardens with lift and tilt windows, as well as feature views of the city, Botanic Garden or city views.

Design features in the home include herringbone floor tiles, expansive balconies and natural stone benchtops.

The building is targeting a 6 Green Star ‘design and as built’ rating and is the largest residential project in Queensland doing so.

3. The ideal location

Situated in Brisbane’s historical heart, the project’s atrium entrance on George Street directly connects the CBD through to the riverfront.

Queen’s Wharf Brisbane is set to become Brisbane’s signature landmark and the largest integrated resort development in Australia.

“Standing like a mini Manhattan, the city will be framed on all four sides”, the project marketing reads.

“To the North by Spring Hill, the Eagle Street riverside to the East, to the South by the City Botanic Gardens and to the West it will have Queen’s Wharf.”

4. Heritage buildings

Queen’s Wharf is a site of great historical significance, hosting Australia’s largest collection of carefully restored heritage buildings.

The precinct will feature iconic contemporary architecture alongside a collection of beautifully restored heritage buildings, including the Brisbane Printing Office.

“[Queen’s Wharf] celebrates the precinct’s Indigenous and European heritage with interpretative trails and experiences spanning the Brisbane River and ridgeline.”

5. A brand-new precinct

Queens Wharf provides a truly global space to Brisbane’s skyline, offering mixed retail tenancies, heritage building conversions and parks,

The 7.5-hectare precinct will welcome tourists and locals, along with a new The Star casino, Queen’s Wharf and four international hotels.

Over 50 restaurants and bars will share 40,000sqm of retail space with local and international brands.

“There is no better place to live than on the waterfront in one of Australia's greatest developments.”

6. Five-star amenities

Residents can enjoy five-star luxury amenities exclusively for them.

Spread over two levels, facilities include a 22-metre lap pool, spas, yoga spaces, steam room, gym, wine lounge, private dining rooms and cinema.

Among its amenities include:

  • Level 4 retail and access the pedestrian bridge to South Bank
  • World-class gaming lounges on Levels 5 and 6
  • Level 6 Ballroom
  • Level 7 opens up to a recreational deck community space
