Sherpa Property Group has announced a significant donation to Serving Our People.

It's giving all the proceeds of a $1.2 million apartment in its luxury Palm Beach apartment development, Perspective Nexus to Serving Our People's essential projects, such as The People’s Market, Feeding Our People, and other programs addressing current rising cost of living and welfare to the community across Queensland and New South Wales.

The proceeds will provide crucial support in the form of non-perishable groceries and household items as well as other vital programs such as Youth Empowerment, and children and family welfare programs supporting all those in need.

"At Sherpa Property Group, community upliftment is paramount. This donation underscores our dedication to making a positive difference in the community," said Christie Leet, Founder of Sherpa Property Group

“Sherpa remains in true alignment with the values of Sherpas, with an unwavering commitment to serving people and our community and facilitating the journey of others.

“We’re honoured to be cultivating a culture of giving back to the wider community with partnerships amongst the many consultants, builders, trades, suppliers and subcontractors involved in Nexus.

“Our partnership with the incredible team at LPS Group has been monumental, their contribution of expertise has maximised the impact of the donation and has ensured that every dollar raised directly benefits Serving Our People’s vital initiatives.”

Mark Short, Director of construction firm LPS Group, emphasised the project's significance amid the ongoing housing crisis.

"Joining forces with Sherpa Property Group to support Serving Our People is both an honour and a responsibility. Together, we're leveraging our expertise to drive tangible change, underscoring our collective dedication to community welfare.

“It's truly rewarding to be involved in a project that has such a meaningful impact on the community.”

Since its inception in 2020, Serving Our People has been at the forefront of addressing the intensified challenges faced by Australians from all walks of life, including homelessness, food insecurity, unemployment, and housing instability.

With a surge in demand for support, Serving Our People's initiatives, like The People’s Market, have become lifelines for vulnerable individuals and families.

Yas Daniel Matbouly, Founder and CEO of Serving Our People, said the donation is the single largest the charity has received

"The funds raised will directly impact The People’s Market, Feeding Our People program, Feed 100 children as well as our emergency relief and vital programs who need them most”, Matbouly said.

As Serving Our People continues to expand its reach and impact, Sherpa Property Group's donation stands as a testament to the power of collective action in fostering positive change within communities. Together, they are paving the way for a future where every individual has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Serving Our People’s The People’s Chance Raffle platform could present an opportunity for this apartment to be raffled contributing to Serving Our People's impactful initiatives while also having a chance to win a prestigious property.
