There is now a $1,999,000 asking price after the scheduled weekend auction of a Port Douglas holding failed to secure a sale.
The 6173R Captain Cook Highway holding is a 37 hectare holding with homestead and cottage.
It was listed through Callum Jones and Tony McGrath at Tony McGrath Real Estate Port Douglas.
It was marketed as suitable for up to 100 head of cattle, a registered primary producing property - therefore no land tax.
