Paddington tops list of Brisbane unit hotspots

Paddington takes the top spot on a new list of Brisbane's 2016/2017 hotspot for investing in units, developed by APM senior economist, Dr Andrew Wilson.

The median unit price at Paddington is $562,500 with an expected increase of 4% over the next 12 months, according to APM's forecast.

An example would be a two bedroom unit at 3/43 Fernberg Road (above) that was sold for $595,000  $32,500 above the median price.

The Smart Investor magazine, published by Fairfax Media, ranked Lutwyche as one of several suburbs in the second rung of best hotspots.
