Brisbane-based developer Golden Gate Property has achieved a $6 million sell-out of their latest release at the masterplanned community project, Carver’s Reach.

Located in Logan’s Park Ridge area, the 26 land lots offered in the release sold out in just 12 days, with quality land in the Logan growth corridor increasingly hard to come by.

Golden Gate’s director of development, David Whiteman, noted that the majority of buyers were first home buyers, with demand far exceeding supply.

“The surge in demand experienced since the launch of the HomeBuilder scheme last year has continued to escalate to new heights, but the reality is that many projects in the area simply don’t have any stock to sell,” he said.

The $135 million development is set to offer 600 lots altogether, with first residents moving into the completed first stage.

Local amenities ideal for families include major playgrounds and parklands, a kids pedal park, a gym, walking trails and an off-leash dog park.

“From the very beginning, we had a vision for Carver’s Reach,” Whiteman said. “We wanted to build a place where families could enjoy everything that Queensland has to offer with plenty of high-quality parks, playgrounds and open space.”

Other new developments in the City of Logan

With many Queensland buyers optimistic that prices will rise over the next few years, now may be the ideal time to purchase an off-the-plan property.

Logan, one of Queensland’s fastest-growing regions, occupies the strategic location between the Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast.

According to the Logan Office of Economic Development, the region is predicted to grow more than any other council region in south-east Queensland over the next 20 years.

Here are three new developments that you can secure in the City of Logan:

1. Aquila Lodge, Eagleby
Address: 10 Bishop Street, Eagleby QLD 4207
One-bedroom townhomes from $230,000

Boasting a collection of 18 townhouses, Aquila Lodge provides spacious open-plan homes at an affordable price, nearby train stations, the Pacific Motorway and the Logan Motorway.

Each residence includes a single-car lock-up garage, stone benchtops and stainless-steel kitchen appliances.

2. Clearwater Junction, Bethania
Address: Clearwater Street, Bethania QLD 4205
Three-bedroom townhomes from $335,000

The affordable Clearwater Junction development offers a boutique collection of 61 three-bedroom townhouses, developed with family comfort in mind.

Nearby Logan’s entertainment precinct, the development offers timeless design, open-plan living and modern kitchens.

3. Acacia Waters Estate, Eagleby
Address: Fryar Road, Eagleby QLD 4207
Two-bedroom apartments from $305,000

Adjacent to Beenleigh, the largest commercial community between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Acacia Waters comprises one, two and three-bedroom apartments across nine buildings.

The project features an abundance of outdoor amenities, including a swimming pool, barbeque pergolas and open lawns.
