Luxury apartment developer GRAYA has hit another major milestone on-site at Canvas Bulimba.

A key feature of the project, the curved pre-cast concrete formwork, has been craned into place.

The curved forms give Canvas its very unique aesthetic, Graya says, softening the building's profile against the streetscape and adding some architectural flare to the suburb.

Graya are forecasting completion for the end of 2023, with buyers moving in shortly after.

The development, designed by bureau^proberts, will set a new benchmark for luxury living in Brisbane's affluent river-side suburb Bulimba, which has never before seen a development with this level of architecture.

Canvas feature just 21 two, three and four-bedroom apartments, of which all but one are sold.

In March, Graya set a new record for the highest price paid for a non-riverfront apartment in Bulimba.

The 185 sqm penthouse, which includes a rooftop terrace, sold for $3.5 million through project marketing agency MOTIV. It is one of three penthouses in the Love Street development and was acquired by a relative of a current Love Street resident as a secondary home in Brisbane.

Following this success, Graya released the final penthouse, which is expected to come close to topping the previous record.

Carly Cottam, Founder and Chief Executive of MOTV Group, noted the strong demand from high-net-worth buyers in Brisbane's affluent inner suburbs.

"The lack of luxury properties available in the city has driven the interest."

"Graya's reputation for offering location, lifestyle, craftsmanship, and low-maintenance solutions has resonated with buyers."

The allure of Canvas extends beyond the elegant apartments themselves. Residents will have the pleasure of indulging in a range of luxurious amenities, further enhancing their living experience, including an expansive rooftop entertainment area which offers views of Newstead and the City.

The space will also include a designer pool, a heated spa, and a sauna, along with sunken lounges, barbecues, and dining areas.

Graya was founded by brothers Rob and Andrew Gray over a decade ago, who have in the last few years broadened their horizons from creating some of Brisbane's most expensive homes, and started developing boutique, multi-residential apartment projects.
