EDQ approves second Maroochydore CBD site for Habitat
Habitat Development Group has secured approval from Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) for a second project in the new Maroochydore CBD, buoyed by recent sales success at their $83 million Market Lane project.
The new $94 million development, the Corso Residences, will include two towers, one 15-storey tower offering 116 apartments, including five penthouses, and an eight-storey tower, comprising 42 apartments and 715sqm of retail space.
Designed by Sunshine Coast-based K Architecture, the project will include a large resort pool on the ground floor and a communal rooftop terrace on level four connecting the two towers.
“The recent sales rates at Market Lane have been very healthy and we expect to be sold out in March 2021, 12 months ahead of completion”, said Habitat Development Group director Cleighton Clark.
“The timing for the sales launch of the Corso Residences is scheduled for the second quarter of 2021 and we expect strong enquiry from those that may have missed out on our first project,” he said.
Two-bedroom apartments within Market Lane are listed from $430,900, and includes access to premium amenities, including a resort-style pool, landscaped open space and entertaining areas.
