Demolition paves way for Upper Mount Gravatt's Pavilion The Residences
Construction company CS Development Group has completed the demolition at Pavilion The Residences in Upper Mount Gravatt, the latest development by local developer Oakridge Property Group,
Pavilion The Residences, situated adjacent to the Mimosa Creek nature reserve, is designed to encompass three five-level pavilion-style structures, replacing the existing two-storey residence on the site. The buildings are scheduled to commence construction in June.
Once completed, Pavilion The Residences will offer a total of 144 apartments with a diverse range of configurations, including 52 one-bedroom, 72 two-bedroom, and 20 three-bedroom units.
Oakridge enlisted MAS Architecture Studio to craft the design for the Pavilion, employing a sub-tropical aesthetic marked by profound balcony overhangs and strategic fenestration to prioritise solar aspect, orientation, and harmonious integration with the natural surroundings.
Nick Simmons, director of MAS Architecture Studio said that the process for Pavilion has been very collaborative with interior design studio Corner iD and the landscape architect "to make sure our design is holistically gelled together as one entire piece."
Pavilion The Residences also includes exclusive amenities including a landscaped central courtyard which will be used as a common recreation space. That will feature barbecue facilities and a swimming pool which will sit between each tower's lobby.
The development is strategically located less than 15 minutes from Brisbane's CBD, with easy access to major transport hubs like the M1 and Brisbane Metro.
The first stage to hit the market will be the Hibiscus Residences.
