Azure is releasing the final apartment in its One Five Six apartment development in New Farm.

The sub-penthouse in One Five Six, located at 156 Oxlade Drive in the heart of New Farm, is the final apartment to be released to the market.

Set on level five of the building, the 226 sqm apartment has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a three-car garage. It features a 35 sqm river-facing terrace.

Residence 5.02 is positioned on the north-eastern side of the building taking full advantage of the 11-metre frontage affording elevated, uninterrupted views of the Brisbane River and Oxlade Park.

Azure Director Trent Kiernan says the apartment is "pretty well irreplaceable."

"In a building without compromise and in the best street in New Farm, someone will be very lucky to secure it,” Keirnan said.

Simon Caulfield, who is marketing the apartment, says the opportunity to purchase something like this is scarce.

“When you consider the location, uninterrupted views, practical floorplan and quality finishes throughout, the sub-penthouse residence has no compromise," Caulfield says.

"In the current market, residential opportunity of this calibre is incredibly scarce. Most importantly, construction is nearing completion where buyers have the benefit of occupying in the later half of this year."

Brisbane remains a standout performer at the prestige end of the market, where it maintains positive growth rates consistently observed month on month.

“While Brisbane continues to grapple with limited inventory, particularly in premium locations, there’s a noticeable influx of buyers, especially in the upper echelons of the market," Caulfield adds.

"This demand underscores Brisbane’s status as an attractive investment destination, offering a compelling mix of lifestyle amenities, urban sophistication, and comparatively more affordable prices compared to Sydney and Melbourne.”

Affluent buyers are typically looking to transition to a more streamlined lifestyle without sacrificing on quality or comfort, looking to purchase more than just a place to live.

“Understanding and catering to buyers’ preferences in the high-end property market is crucial for developers and agents operating in the prestige property space, One Five Six perfectly exemplifies the desire to purchase a lifestyle statement that encapsulates luxury, security and convenience.”

One Five Six offers a collection of a total of ten residences comprising of a penthouse, garden penthouse and eight apartments, complemented by luxurious amenities that promote rest and recovery from a busy city lifestyle.

The penthouse comprising of 4-bedrooms, 5-bathrooms, 7-car garage, 1500 bottle cellar, complete with a 200sqm rooftop terrace and heated lap pool sold for a Brisbane record of $11.3 million in 2022.

Azure is a privately owned real estate development and investment company that has delivered more than 1,400 terraces, units and residential lots since it was founded in 2014.

The company’s active portfolio of seven developments is valued at more than $500 million including One Earle Lane, Oakmont and Dahlia and it hosts a future pipeline in excess of $1.3 billion.

One Five Six is set to be completed by the end of 2024.
