Aria to deliver Australia's first double-storey amenity rooftop at South Brisbane's Upper House
South Brisbane's art and cultural precinct is about to welcome its tallest tower yet, as Aria Property Group approaches completion of their latest residential project, Upper House.
The development will be adorned with golden ribbons, which were hoisted up 32 levels earlier this year, signifying the top of the building where the extensive rooftop amenity will sit.
The double-storey rooftop club, an Australian first, will cater to residents' social needs, with a wine bar, a lounge area, a wine cellar, a private theatre room, a private dining room, a home office, and an executive boardroom.
There's also a Wellness Club which is aimed to improve the wellbeing of Upper House's residents. That will feature a rooftop infinity pool that will offer sweeping views of the surrounding area, a jacuzzi, fitness centre, yoga room, day spa, two infrared saunas, treatment room, hot and cold pools, a steam room, seating pods, and a relaxation and reflection pool.
Internationally acclaimed architects, Koichi Takada drew inspiration from Queensland's Moreton Bay fig tree and the organic shapes found in the Daintree Rainforest, for the design of the building, which features dancing balconies and architectural ribbons.
The fluid and sculptural ribbons wind their way up the facade, creating a unique and visually striking presence in the streetscape, with the ribbons intertwining at the rooftop level to form a shaded pergola, enhancing the recreational and wellbeing spaces for residents.
A mix of two and three-bedroom apartments are on offer in Upper House, designed to maximise the sense of height, volume, and space. The project is Aria's first project to feature 3.0-metre high ceilings, with each apartment also set to boast Miele appliances and timber floors.
Consideration for neighbouring properties was a priority in positioning the building on the site, with generous setbacks to each lot boundary preserving neighbouring amenity, while also focussing on maintaining privacy for residents of Upper House.
Adjoining with West End's eclectic dining and entertainment hub, resident's will be well place to take in all South Bank has to offer.
The area attracts over 16 million visitors annually, with landmarks such as the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), Queensland Museum, Queensland Art Gallery, Conservatorium of Music and Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and emerging outdoor Fish Lane Arts Precinct all within walking distance.
The two-bedders are priced from $1 million, while the three-bedroom apartments begin from just under $2 million, with each residence to benefit from a car space or more, in addition to two or three-bathrooms.
