Veteran Brisbane developer Gardner Vaughan Group knew the value of developing on a park when they acquired a Flora Street site in Stones Corner.

What they hadn't banked on was a $21.5 million, government-funded rejuvenation of the 5.21-hectare Hanlon Park, which was voted Australia's best park in 2023 at Build Australia's 2023 National Awards.

The park won an Award of Excellence in the Parks and Open Space category, a Landscape Architecture Award in the Land Management category and a Climate Positive Design Award.

Facing the park will be Gardner Vaughan Group's new apartment development, Stonebrook.

The nine-level building will have 90 one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments, and will be crowned by a communal rooftop terrace with views over the park.

Stonebrook will house 90 one to four-bedroom apartments and penthouses across nine levels, including communal ground floor and rooftop amenities.

With a spotlight on simplicity and style, residents can expect high-quality fixtures and finishes within all carefully crafted homes. Penthouse residents can customise their interiors from the exclusive penthouse collection interiors.

The modern, minimalist kitchens are centred on a large island with a bar sink and seating for added functionality.

The bathrooms feature a floating vanity under a mirrored storage cabinet that reaches the ceiling. The open shower is bordered by a frameless glass on one side and an illuminated shower niche on the other.

Outdoors, residents can stay active with the on-site gymnasium or dip in the heated ground pool.

Entertainers will enjoy the indoor and outdoor dining spaces overlooking park views on the communal rooftop terrace to host family and friends.

The pet-friendly development also has onsite parcel and bike storage, 14 visitor car spaces, provision for EV charging stations and solar compatibility. Stonebrook is a proud UDIA-certified EnviroDevelopment.

Stonebrook is just five kilometres from the Brisbane CBD via the Buranda Train & Busways and moments from the first-class restaurants at Logan Rd. With direct accessibility to Hanlon Park, residents can enjoy a quiet morning stroll, jog, or cycle daily.

The development is estimated to be completed in December 2024.
