A warehouse conversion in Pyrmont owned by two-hatted chef and restaurateur Mark Best and his wife Valerie sold at weekend auction.

The minimalist two-level apartment at 501 & 502/380 Harris Street sold on its reserve for $2 million to an inner-west buyer.

The Bests had amalgamated apartments in 2007 and 2008 paying $1,395,000 total in the M Central development.

The two apartments were amalgamated by architect Julius Bokor, blending his modernist style with the building’s industrial touches.
