The recently featured property used as the Vickers'  family house in the Channel 10 series Puberty Blues has been offered for the first time in 47 years.

The property, home to a family of five, is very much in its 1970s condition, including the seven different types of wallpaper.

There's patterned carpet, coloured bathroom and wood light fittings at the Oaks Street, Cronulla address.

The series location manager Peter Hicks scoured for months to find the right house with authentic '70s interiors.

The house goes to auction this weekend with $1.2 million-plus hopes through Dax De Traubenberg and Justin Ressler of Ressler Property.

Debbie is played by Ashleigh Cummings, the daughter of Judy and Martin Vickers, played by Claudia Karvan and Jeremy Lindsay Taylor in the high-rating series that tells the story of two girls growing up in The Shire in the 1970s.

Its is based on the iconic 1979 novel by Kathy Lette and Gabrielle Carey.
