Professional surfer Ozzie Wright is selling his long-held Narrabeen investment home.

Wright, an artist, filmmaker and Goons of Doom musician, is now based up in Byron Bay with singer wife, Mylee, having sold the couple's Newport home last year.

That fetched $2.3 million when it sold to Wests Tigers coach Ivan Cleary.

The latest listing was bought in 2002 for $900,000. It was a $1,250 a week rental late last year.

Set 150 metres to be precise to North Narrabeen beach, the two storey Loftus Street home features lounges on both floors and a wrap around entertaining deck.

There are four bedrooms, two on the ground level and two on the upper.

It sits in 460 square metres of established gardens.

Belle Property Dee Why agents Brendan Pomponio and Joshua Perry are marketing the home.

Wright is now based in Byron Bay with Mylee having spent $1.15 million on a four bedroom Suffolk Park home in 2015.

Wright earned a reputation as a kind of anti-establishment professional with his quirky pen-and-ink sketches of thin, sad-eyed hipsters were used in Volcom surfwear ads.

In 2002, Australia's FHM magazine named Wright the country's fifth best-dressed man in an ironic nod to the shabby-chic trend he helped popularise.
