Owner of one of Perth's priciest homes buys in the Southern Highlands
Sue Gibson, who is seeking $50 million for her Dalkeith, Swan River trophy home, has bought Crossways Farm in the the NSW Southern Highlands.
She paid $5.55 million on extended settlement terms for the Robertson property, which was sold by Louise Zavattaro.
The five-bedroom residence in Robertson is surrounded by a mature garden, a tennis court, two self-contained apartments, seven dams, eight hectares of rainforest and equestrian facilities.
The property has been on and off the market since early 2014 when it was initially offered for $6.9 million.
It was most recently marketed by Angus Campbell-Jones, of Campbell Jones Property.
It was previously owned by rag traders Lisa Ho and her former husband Philip Smouha, who bought it in 2005 for $4.5 million and sold to the Zavattaro family for $4.8 million in 2009.
The 49-hectare property is reportedly to become her permanent residence, coming four years after she and West Australian mining magnate Steve Wyatt ended their 27-year relationship.
Following the split, Gibson is now sole owner of the Perth mansion that was built for the late Alan Bond.
The Wyatt's had paid $39 million in 2011.
