There was a $1.7 million weekend sale at Ormond of a four-bedroom California bungalow.

It had only changed hands a year earlier for $1.54 million, showing a 10 per cent increase in just over a year.

It showed just how fast the market is moving,” Advantage Property Consulting director Frank Valentic said, adding he “didn’t see the market showing down in the foreseeable future”.

The 99 Leila Rd California bungalow is set in landscaped gardens on 688sqm.

It looked like this last year.
