The national development giant, Meriton, has been given the green light to commence with one of the next stages of their Pagewood Green masterplan.

The Bayside Council signed off on the development of 42 three and four-bedroom townhouses, a handful with their own granny flats.

The townhouses have been designed by PTW Architects and will range in size from 116 sqm to 172 sqm.

Meriton recently launched Uccello, a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments in the 16 hectare masterplan.

Designed by SJB Architects, Uccello’s towers will rise 20 levels above the brand new Pagewood Centro retail precinct, which will form the Town Centre, offering 23 specialty stores, a major national supermarket and an open-air laneway lined with restaurants.

Boasting the tallest towers in Pagewood and Eastgardens, bookended by two expansive parks, Uccello sits adjacent to the newly completed 8,000 sqm Central Park, which features a basketball court, outdoor gym, state-of-the-art kids’ playground and barbecue facilities, as well as the future 2,700 sqm Community Park.

Within the towers, the landscaped podium garden is home to a range of residential amenity including an outdoor resort-style 20-metre pool, a spa, sauna, indoor gym, and a barbecue pavilion.

Crowning Uccello is the rooftop garden, encompassing sweeping views of the neighbouring eastern suburbs and city beyond.

Four onsite childcare centres are proposed for the Meriton development, as well as electric car charging provisions, MyParcel locker systems, carwash bays and a dedicated onsite building manager, available to cater to all the residents’ and property needs.

The Eastgardens project benefits from an onsite bus stop, with direct services to Bondi Junction and Kingsford Light Rail Station.

The Eastgardens Westfield bus interchange is only next door, with the residences also enjoying proximity to Maroubra Beach, the University of NSW and the Prince of Wales Hospital all just around three-kilometres away.
