One Global Residences, the luxury property development and hotel company recently launched by Crown Group CEO and co-founder Iwan Sunito, will deliver the the first residential buildings at Mastery by Crown Group in Sydney's Waterloo.

Designed by Koichi Takada & Associates and Silvester Fuller, One Mastery will comprise two luxury residential buildings and two boutique hotels connected by a Japanese-themed retail village.

EBISU is the first building set to be completed in the project, taking its name from Japanese mythology, Shichi-fuku-jin, which translates to “Seven Gods of Luck”, the patron of fishermen and tradesmen, in a nod to the retail precinct that will connect all the buildings on the ground level.

93 apartments will be delivered across eight-storeys, with a Japanese-inspired ground floor zen garden at the heart, complete with a reflective pool.

Crowing the residences is an additional communal space, with a landscaped rooftop garden in addition to barbecue facilities.

EBISU will feature the largest three-bedroom configurations of all the buildings within One Mastery, making it ideal for growing families or downsizers.

Many of the apartments also boast dual aspects, allowing for natural light and ventilation to filter in from both sides.

The entire precinct will be serviced by a 2,400 sqm retail precinct featuring 27 retail outlets envisioned to include a mix of Japanese restaurants, cafes and shops.

Quaint, tranquil laneways will weave through the complex, connecting every building, designed to be experienced as a Japanese ‘culinary journey’ showcasing a range of Japanese oriented dining, retail and hospitality venues.

One Mastery is the first development to be delivered by Iwan Sunito’s new brand, with other properties to follow including a prime site in Macquarie Park, as well as a future pipeline of sites located at Chatswood, Los Angeles and Indonesia.

One Global Residences will provide service-oriented mix-use developments, focussed on delivering premium hotels offering luxury facilities to owner-occupier residences and hotel guests alike, Sunito said.

“One Global Residences will set a new benchmark in premium apartment living in Australia. It will be an Australia first,” he said.

“Our new venture will appeal to the most discerning of residential apartment purchasers – those looking for something truly extraordinary and very hard to find but do currently exist in other global cities such as New York, Paris or London.

One, two and three-bedroom apartments can still be snapped up in the inner-city project, with prices starting from $781,000.
