Fashion designer turned property developer Danny Avidan sold a grand Victorian terrace in Bondi Junction midweek after its failed May auction.

The four-bedroom 1890s Grafton Street terrace was bought as an investment in 2016.

The Point Piper-based husband of fashion designer Charlie Brown paid $2.25 million.

There was a $2.25 million guide then a $2 million post-auction update from Ray White’s Ashley Bierman.

It has been a $1750-a-week rental.

Avidan first came to prominence with his Discovery label in 1984.
