Construction commences on Central Coast masterplanned estate, Rumbalara Residences
Construction has commenced on a six star luxury development on the Central Coast.
The $250 million master planned estate, Rumbalara Residences, is the work of Australian private investment group Alceon, in collaboration with builders Deicorp and architects Marchese Partners.
Situated on the highest point of Gosford, offering views stretching over Brisbane Waters, the Marchese-designed residences offer varying one, two and three-bedroom floor plans with 188 apartments set to be spread out across the four buildings.
Ranging in size from 27 sqm to 62 sqm, buyers have the option to select between treehouses or townhouse, with inclusions such as fireplaces and Sub Zero Wolf appliances.
The 2.2-hectare resort-style estate has already been inundated with interest from Sydney buyers including downsizers and first home buyers, with Alceon’s Development Director, Todd Campling saying the initial launch period received more than 1200 enquiries in just a few weeks.
“There’s not many other opportunities where you can secure a home starting at $580,000 with access to such an enormous amount of world class amenities,” he added.
Leading construction experts, Deicorp have been appointed to build the project, with the group the first in New South Wales to achieve the coveted iCART rating for trustworthiness under the NSW Building Commission’s reforms.
A figure eight pool takes pride of place in the centre of more than 4,000 sqm of manicured resort-like grounds while residents also have access to a 1,000 sqm Club House, which is home to a suite of amenities including an on-site concierge, private cinema, dining room, gym, day spa, work from home hot desk space and virtual golf simulator.
“The quality of the build signals a new era for development on the Central Coast and it’s no surprise that the majority of interest is coming from Sydney at the moment - mainly from home owners on the North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills Shire, Inner West and Sutherland Shire looking to downsize,” Campling said.
And with the launch of stage one achieving such success, the group has brought on stage two earlier than expected to meet the demand.
“We’re finding that people are willing to pay a premium price and act with urgency due to the unique one-of-a-kind style and design of the project,” Campling said.
“Ninety percent of our buyers are owner occupiers and they’re buying in for the lifestyle the development offers,” he added.
Completion on the first stage of the project, including the pool and Club House is slated for completion for 2024.
