The three bedroom, two bathroom apartment sold through BresicWhitney.

The 17/26 Grove St offering was listed for online auction.

The 1970s apartment last sold in 2017 at $2.3m.

The 190 sqm apartment, with north-facing water views, came with a tandem-car garage and a single garage.

It also came with a fireplace.

Sydney apartment vendors secured an 80 percent success rate at weekend auction.

According to CoreLogic, there was an $1,180,000 median price for Sydney apartments/townhouses.

There were 397 national results, with some 160 results yet to be advised.

Houses saw a 58 percent success rate, and units had a 45 percent preliminary success rate, with an $852,500 median price.
