Actress and dressmaker Susan Hannaford paid $717,500 three decades ago for her house at Forty Baskets Beach.

The actress, who at one point was reportedly set for a part in Seinfeld and the Hollywood soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, has now listed her Forty Baskets Beach property which was bought when she was affectionately known as Kitty in the television series The Sullivans.

Mark Novak at the Novak Agency knows his lines, saying the house at 30A Beatty Street, Balgowlah Heights was "still dressed in its 1970's attire."

He says the "magical harbourside abode" is dramatically set over two levels with extensive harbour views from almost every room of the property. It even has a very 1970s carpeted sunken lounge area.

It has five bedrooms plus two more in the teenagers' retreat located on the bottom level of the property.

"This rare gem is spectacular and is truly looking for some love," Novak says somewhat dramatically in the marketing.

The agency declined to comment at all on the listing after a query from Property Observer.
