Experienced Brisbane developers DeMartini Fletcher and Holm Developments have received the green light to proceed with a $76 million apartment development at Casuarina Beach, tapping into an acute shortage of residences in the exclusive coastal precinct.

Coined, Pama Casuarina, the project will deliver 47 apartments across four levels, designed to coexist with its surrounding context, capturing the essence of the laid-back coastal lifestyle that has made Casuarina Beach so popular.

Landing within one of the most sought-after coastal villages on the Tweed Coast at 5 Grand Parade, Pama Casuarina will sit just a short walk to the beach and local cafes, comprising a collection of two, three and four-bedroom apartments.

Designed by acclaimed architect and Casuarina local Danny Juric of Plus Architecture, the residences have been crafted to offer spacious interiors that capture a variety of coastal aspects.

Open-plan designs and large wrap-around balconies in corner apartments take advantage of coastal views along with embracing alfresco living areas, while each three and four-bedroom design, as well as some two-bedroom residences boast a multi-purpose room, creating an even further extension of the living area.

DeMartini Fletcher’s Managing Director, John DeMartini said locals had been quick to secure apartments at Pama, accounting for over 70 per cent of the sales to date, following a low-key local marketing campaign.

“We’re pleased to have received such a strong response from the local market,” said DeMartini.

“With supply of new apartments at record lows, Pama is set to deliver a welcome supply of new apartments to meet continued demand for quality residences in the area,” he added.

Pama has been designed for the owner-occupier market, enhanced by a range of exclusive resident amenities including a resort-style pool with a wet deck and relaxing cabana area, barbecues facilities, with a kitchen and bar area, outdoor showers and exclusive use of vintage bicycles.

“Pama will allow residents to take full advantage of its prime location at Casuarina Beach surrounded by so much natural beauty,” said Godfrey Esmonde, Director of Holm Developments.

“Community is at the heart of Pama, where residents can enjoy long walks on the beach, a short stroll to the local cafés and shops or a bike ride through the Casuarina Beach village.

“While we have designed a collection of supremely private residences, Pama also embraces a connection to community and a sense of belonging that Casuarina locals appreciate.” DeMartini Fletcher and Holm Developments have separately completed a significant portfolio of residential developments located on prime sites between the Tweed and the Sunshine Coast’s.

CBRE Residential Projects are handling the sales of Pama, with Senior Director, Nick Clydsdale saying the project had been very well received by the market, as the development taps into what makes Casuarina such a special place.

“Pama comes to the market at a critical time for Casuarina with a record low residential supply continuing to drive interest in this sought-after lifestyle region. Local buyers have recognised the value proposition quite early, and we’re now looking forward to bringing this exceptional project to the broader market.”

Construction is expected to commence on Pama Casuarina in the fourth quarter of this year.
