Sydney's Manly had the nation's top recorded apartment sale last week when $5,425,000 was paid for an apartment on North Steyne. The 6/93-95 North Steyne is positioned on Manly’s coveted beachfront strip with a north east aspect. It sits in the Manly Oasis complex. The 210 sqm apartment had been recently renovated before its sale through Clarke & Humel. It is three bedrooms, three bathrooms plus study area. It last sold in 2007 at $1.963 million. It first sold in 1991 at $540,000. There was a national 63 percent auction success rate for apartments and townhouses over the past week, according to CoreLogic. Sydney saw a slightly higher 67 percent success rate.
