Married Melbourne sporting legends, the retired tennis player Nicole Bradtke and basketballer Mark Bradtke, have sold their Sandringham home.

They got $2,092,500 for their red brick Edwardian home of nine years.

The four bedroom home sits within the Gipsy Village heritage precinct.

It had been expected to sell for about $1.9 million through Nick Johnstone Real Estate.

They paid $1.31 million in 2007.

Nicole won three singles and nine doubles on the WTA tour in her career and Mark was inducted into the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.

The couple wed in 1994 and have two boys who loved the inground trampoline in the backyard.
