The Woollahra terrace of Caroline O'Connor and her husband Barry Shaw has been scheduled for September 6 auction.

The musical theatre star - currently on stage - and her musical husband expect $2.5 million.

They have been on Edgecliff Road since 1999 when they paid $625,000 for the three bedroom semi.

The couple will often enjoy a morning coffee on the balcony in the sunshine.

It was when O’Connor was 19 — having studied for two years at London’s Royal Ballet School, then returning to Sydney to dance with the then Australian Opera Ballet — that the idea of combining dance with her singing began to take shape.

They have had a home in Surrey, England where Caroline was born.
