An isolated Western Australia home is on the market at Kununurra, offered through May Dunlop from Sotheby's International.

Noelene Green spent two years in the design phase with family friend and architect Greg Eastman of Poletti and Sherwood Architects, while the house was built by Kimberley Green Constructions with husband Peter Green as the professional builder.

It has won eight awards since its three year construction in 2014 including the Master Builders-Bankwest Housing Excellence Awards for best country home.

Completely connected with the landscape, on the brow of the hill, it also looks out to the Carr Boyd mountain ranges and Ord River.

The home has a tropical garden and orchard with fruit farming potential.

Located at Lot/207 Riverfarm Road, Kununurra, its living and sleeping quarters are set across the main house and separate guest accommodation, accessed by an attached timber walkway.

The master suite comes with its own formal lounge, dressing room and bathroom that overlook the river.

Three further bedroom suites are available in the main part of the house, all with their own ensuite and individually accessed and keyed.

The main house also features a formal living area, heated lap pool, home cinema and award-winning kitchen with Gaggenau appliance.

The separate guest suites feature resort-style bedrooms, guest lounge with bar area, and custom built wardrobes.

In addition to the main house and guest suites, there are a number of other properties on the lot, including a staff cottage, original caretaker’s house, large boat shed, and helicopter landing area.

The area has a tropical garden with farming potential for a well-maintained selection of mango, papaya, lime, grapefruit and pineapple fruit producing trees.

Set within the East Kimberley region of Western Australia, it's only 10 kilometres from Kununurra town centre, shopping and transport.

The suburb's median house price sits at $350,000, according to CoreLogic.
