A four bedroom Hackett house sold for $1.06 million making it Canberra’s most expensive recent weekend auction sale.

Located at 4 Brennan Street, the 958 sqm property has views of Mount Majura and Mount Ainslie.

It last sold for $405,000 in 2002.

It features a living area, separate dining room and an updated kitchen with new appliances and dishwasher.

Three of the four bedrooms have their own built-in robes.

Outdoor is a garden with veggie patches, vines, fruit trees including apricot and pears.

Other features includes a workshop area and double garage.

The property is minutes from Mount Majura, shops, restaurants, cafes and public transport as well as the Dickson shopping area and sport facilities.

The property was offered through Luton agents Michael McReynolds and Jenny McReynolds.
