The four bedroom home elevated on a rock ledge at Mount Melville, Western Australian has been listed for sale with $900,000 hopes.

It has been scheduled for February 10.

Albany Sky Home, at 60 Robinson Street, is around 2 kilometres from Albany.

With design cues from the tropics, and a focus on solar-passive efficiency, the home was planned with adherence to the principals of Feng Shui.

The rooms are underneath a curved roof with a huge podium-like platform that supports the structure.

Steel, colourbond, timber and glass all add to the drama of this one-off residence, said the listing agent Rob Mason.

Built in 1998, it had last sold for $530,000 in 2005.

It comes with split system airconditioning in the main living area and a solar hot water system.

The suburb's median house price is $365,000 according to CoreLogic.
