A Kew architect designed house is on the market with a $3,395,000 asking price.

It has been listed by Peter Vigano and Daniel Joyce from Jellis Craig, and has been scheduled for auction on September 12.

The home references the modernist era throughout light-bathed flexible-use spaces designed for living, working and entertaining.

Positioned at 2 Yarra Street, it features three bedrooms,  free-flowing living and dining areas, entertainer's Corian/Miele kitchen, and north terrace.

Other highlights include computer work station, hydronic heating, custom air-conditioning, BOSE technology, future proof wiring, and double garage plus workshop.

It's within close proximity to Yarra parklands, exceptional schools, Kew shopping and transport.

The suburb's median house price sits at $2.2 million, according to CoreLogic.
